Retrocycling robot

"The Retrocycling Robot is a new system for recycling garbage. Instead of reusing trash to create something new, the robot returns rubbish to its original state, thus curtailing pollution and unnecessary consumption. As a result, the Retrorecycling robot not only cleans your mess but also teaches you not to pollute or over-consume. Be advised: if you don’t understand this concept you too could be returned to your original state!"

This animation was made as a contribution to Challengeyourworld, where creatives present how their approaches towards the world's environmental problems.

This was a really interesting job for Entreculturas against using kids as child soldiers. After i had done the styleframes and the characterdesigns, the spot was traditionally handdrawn on paper. This has been projected to a chalkboard and rotoscoped frame by frame. The final animation is really drawn on chalkboard, no CGI.

Roland and me just spent a couple of days in Lille/France, where we've been doing designs at Lille3000. It's sort of a fashion/art-festival. Our friends from Redspective sent us there.

Roland did a big painting for a store, we did some chalk-drawing, and then i've been live-drawing on t-shirts, that people brought there.

Another flyer for a another party in Zurich/Switzerland. There will be 6 parties in this location. It's sort of a very old bar and in half a year it will be converted into a hotel. The front of the flyer shows the house. the other 5 flyers will be showing the interior (i guess...). I'll take some pictures for them when i fly there end of the month. Looking forward to it :)

'es' is the name of two stores, owned by around six pretty girls, where they sell their self-manufactured apparel. It's all individual, handmade, colorful stuff 'for ladies and their respective pimps', as they say. As payment for this design, they made me a tracking suite. I love tracking suits so much.

I'm pretty excited, 77djs in 3 days, outdoor, indoor and there's even a little lake on the former red army training ground. This is the next UKW flyer. Two little monsters making a snowmonster. The secret is the word on the snowmonster's forehead. It means 'thruth' in hebrew. The legend tells, that this is one of the ways to make a golem come to life.

Is this a party? Hmmm, i'm not really sure if you can call this a party...For those not living in berlin/technopartycapitaloftheworld, be assured, that this line up is insane. Every character on the front represents one of berlins five undergroundish party crews. And yes, they really look like this, i already told you in the last post.
